Election for 2025-2026  Board of Directors

Our annual election no longer has to take place in person. You can vote from the comfort of your easy chair. Here is a list of FAQs to help you navigate this year's voting process.

FAQs


Who can vote?

Members in good standing with membership fees up-to-date may vote. Each member is allowed one vote.

What is the deadline to vote?

Members may vote online or by mail May 1, 2025 through May 15, 2025 (midnight)
Votes must be received by the Society by Thursday, May 15th, 2025. No exceptions.

How do I vote?

1. Electronic Voting
Members in good standing with a valid email address on file with the Society will be able to vote electronically. You will need to login to the website to access the electronic ballot and cast your vote.

(You will need to login with your email address and create a password if you do not already have one.)

2. Paper Ballots
Members in good standing may submit paper ballots by mail. Please use the ballot included in your GHS April 2025 Newsletter  or download and print a copy from the links below. Please follow the instructions for the ballot exactly. Paper Ballots may be printed or copied so long as ballots are reproduced in full, ballots are still legible and the ballot directions are followed exactly.

I have a Dual or Household Membership. Can all my personal members vote?

Yes, so long as your personal members are listed on your membership. (Household Memberships are restricted to persons living in the same household and minor children.) Each member that has a valid email registered with the Society will be able to vote electronically. The rest of your personal members will need to submit paper ballots.
 

How do I check the status of my membership? Or make changes to my membership?

I just signed up. Can I still vote?

Yes! New members may vote in this election provided your membership is received, processed and paid in full and your vote received by the May 15th, 2025 deadline.

I tried to vote electronically but cannot access the webpage. Why?

To access online voting you must:

  1. Have an email address registered with your current membership
  2. Log in to the website using your registered email address and a password
  3. Visit the online link: https://ghs.news/vote2025
