Awarded the national Leicester B. Holland Prize for 2017 by the National Park Service and Library of Congress, author, professional draftsman and apprenticing architect Jean-Guy Dubé has researched and written about Southern Pacific depots since 1983. The lecture features some of these depots in his recent book Railroad Depots – A Southern Pacific Collection.
Jean-Guy Dubé is a graduate of the University of California, a listed architectural historian with the City and County of Santa Barbara, and celebrates twelve years with the architectural firm of Appleton Partners, LLP. Several of his blueprints are archived in the Library of Congress. For those wishing to buy Mr. Dube’s books or blueprints, he will be happy to sign books and blueprints for mailing to you.
