Home of Rubel Castle and the Glendora Museum
Come join staff and volunteers to tend the gardens at Rubel Castle. We are loading up our wheelbarrows for our special project of the day:
CREATING IRRIGATION BERMS AROUND CITRUS TREES - Berms are mounds of soil used to shape a landscape. In our Mediterranean climate it is important to conserve water. We will be planning and installing soil berms to optimize water use and retention for the care of Rubel Castle's historic citrus trees.
You can use these techniques at home for your own garden.

What do I bring?
Space is limited. RSVP is requested. Snacks and beverages will be served. All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver form. Children 12 years or older are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult who will work with them. Please let us know you are coming by registering for this event.
